We've all moped around looking at happy couples all around us. Believe me, when I say feeling sad on Valentine's day happened to me so many years in a row. But well, that's probably how I figured out the advantages and possible awesome-ness of being single.
So it doesn't matter if you've got couples holding hands outside or couples making out in the movies, you can always rely on the benefits of being single.
1. All day is 'your' time.
You don't need to care about taking out specific hours for bae or probably set up an appointment for date night every weekend.
2. You can always binge watch all your favorite TV shows.
You don't have to feel guilty about spending all the time with TV shows.
3. You get to be more independent.
Since there's no 'stronger' bae to help you out, you end up doing everything by yourself which makes you stronger and more independent.
4. It gives your grandma something to talk about.
From your results to your job, and now your love life. It will always keep your relatives entertained.
5. Food is the only 'baby' you're worried about.
So should I have pizza for dinner or just a burger?
6. It lets your imaginations run wild.
You could be dating a movie star or a fancy millionaire. You can enjoy the entire world in your imagination.
7. You don't have to care about grooming.
Shaving your legs? Who cares!
8. You can do whatever you like.
Chill with your friends at sleepovers or drink the night long, the world is your oyster.
9. You don't have to compromise on your comfort.
You don't care about wearing tight fitting undergarments just to show your 'assets' would look voluptuous.
10. Everything can be bae.
The chicken steak you're gonna have for dinner or the large chocolate cake you had earlier today, EVERYTHING is bae!
11. You can pursue hobbies that you enjoy.
You could do whatever you feel like including picking out your favorite hobbies. You can finally enroll in those hip hop dance classes that you always wanted to.
12. You can also 'fart' without feeling conscious.
You don't have to feel ashamed about anything at all! Body odor? Who cares!
